Berrys vs MakeUGC

Scale UGC generation or commission a wider campaign system?

MakeUGC brings AI actors, product-in-hand ads, a content library, a video editor, batch creation, model choices, workflows, API and MCP into one ad-production platform. Berrys combines a product and brand-context Canvas workflow with optional Studio production for a broader creative brief. Neither is limited to a single prompt or an isolated avatar clip. The useful comparison is who owns the concept, revisions and final campaign assets.

Which should you choose?

Consider Berrys when…

  • You want to connect product references, brand context and generation steps in one canvas.
  • You prefer to evaluate a workflow with credits and choose a plan after checking actual usage.
  • You may want a managed creative team to take on a separate production brief.

Consider MakeUGC when…

You have an in-house team testing many creator-style ads and want actors, templates, editing and batch production in one self-service platform.

Review MakeUGC information ↗

Use the same product image, approved claims and channel brief in both workflows. Count usable ads after review, not raw generations. If you need a coordinated mix of catalogue, lifestyle, UGC and campaign files, request a Berrys Studio scope and compare it with your team's MakeUGC production time.

Compare the cost of a usable result

Berrys Canvas

Monthly plans include Studio at $39 with 500 credits and Scale at $99 with 1,250 credits. Credit packages and other plan options are available.

Generation usage depends on the model and settings. Studio service fees are separate from Canvas subscriptions.

MakeUGC

MakeUGC advertises monthly credits, model-dependent usage, batch features and API/MCP access in its current plans. Its API documentation distinguishes API credit units from displayed credits. Check the live checkout and price a specific approved ad set; its credits are not equivalent to Berrys credits.

Check official details ↗

Credit counts are not equivalent across platforms. Include setup, generation settings, revisions and human review when estimating your budget. This page does not establish a lowest-cost provider.

Brand context still needs human review

Berrys’ Brand System node lets you store reference images, colours, font information, voice and documents, then connect that context to generation nodes. It helps you reuse a brief across a workflow.

That is not a guarantee of exact logos, packaging geometry or colour reproduction. Review labels, materials, approved claims and final crops before delivery. Use a controlled shoot or manual finishing when exact detail is essential.

Test with one real brief

  1. Start with the same inputs. Choose a real product, approved references and the formats you need.
  2. Run a representative workflow. Record setup time, generation usage and the revisions needed to reach approval.
  3. Review the finished assets. Compare accuracy and suitability for the actual channel, not just an attractive first generation.

Questions before you choose

Does MakeUGC support API and MCP?

Yes. MakeUGC documents a REST API and an MCP server. Its API feature list also states that the video editor, batch mode and workflow editor do not have documented public endpoints.

Is MakeUGC limited to avatar videos?

No. Its official site lists product-in-hand videos, image ads, video models, editing, batch creation and reusable workflows alongside talking actors.

How should we compare the costs?

Price a brief that includes the source assets, generation settings, retries, review and final exports. Credit units differ between the providers, and Berrys Studio is a separately quoted service.

Can Berrys produce the creative for us?

Yes. Berrys Studio scopes product imagery, video, social content and campaign visuals. Your proposal sets deliverables, fees, timing, revisions and usage terms. Explore the services and view selected work.

Is this a hands-on performance benchmark?

No. This is an editorial comparison using public product information and Berrys’ approved plan details. It does not claim measured speed, fidelity or performance superiority. Test your intended workflow before committing.
